b.         Introduction of Brawley Police Officers David Bernal, Miguel Angel Gonzalez,       Terric Swithenbank and Brawley Accounting Assistant Karla Valdez.

b.         Approve Resolution No. 2014- : Resolution of the City Council of the City of          Brawley, California, acting as the Legislative Body of Community Facilities     District No. 2005-3 of the City of Brawley (La Paloma), authorizing the levy of       Special Taxes within Community Facilities District No. 2005-3 for Fiscal Year        2014-2015. Pp 18-19

 

c.         Approve Resolution No. 2014- : Resolution of the City Council of the City of          Brawley, California, acting as the Legislative Body of Community Facilities     District No. 2005-4 of the City of Brawley (Latigo Ranch), authorizing the levy of Special Taxes within Community Facilities District No. 2005-4 for Fiscal Year        2014-2015. d.         Approve Resolution No. 2014- : Resolution of the City Council of the City of          Brawley, California, acting as the Legislative Body of Community Facilities     District No. 2007-1 of the City of Brawley (Luckey Ranch), authorizing the levy    of Special Taxes within Community Facilities District No. 2007-1 for Fiscal Year        2014-2015.  Pp 22-23

 

e.         Approve Resolution No. 2014- : Resolution of the City Council of the City of          Brawley, California, acting as the Legislative Body of Community Facilities     District No. 2006-1 of the City of Brawley (Malan Park), authorizing the levy of      Special Taxes within Community Facilities District No. 2006-1 for Fiscal Year        2014-2015. Pp 24-25

f.          Approve Resolution No. 2014- : Resolution of the City Council of the City of          Brawley, California, acting as the Legislative Body of Community Facilities     District No. 2007-2 of the City of Brawley (Springhouse), authorizing the levy of  Special Taxes within Community Facilities District No. 2007-2 for Fiscal Year        2014-2015. g.         Approve Resolution No. 2014- : Resolution of the City Council of the City of          Brawley, California, acting as the Legislative Body of Community Facilities     District No. 2005-1 of the City of Brawley (Victoria Park), authorizing the levy of Special Taxes within Community Facilities District No. 2005-1 for Fiscal Year        2014-2015. h.         Approve Resolution No. 2014- : Resolution of the City Council of the City of Brawley, California,Declaring Various Public Safety Vehicles as Surplus Property. Pp 30-37

 

i.          Reject Claim as recommended by Carl Warren & Company Claims Management         Adjusters for Claimants: Rigoberto Zaragoza.

 

j.          Select Airport Engineering Consulting, Inc. to provide professional services to the         Brawley Municipal Airport for a Scope of Work and Fee to be negotiated;  authorize City Manager to execute all documents in relation to this contract.

k.         Award Bid to Radco, Inc. for Project No. 2014-10: Cattle Call Drive Sanitary          Sewer Services Installation in the amount of $25,769; authorize City Manager to         execute all documentation in relation to project. Pp 39-40

 

l.          Approve Regional Animal Control and Shelter Stakeholder Committee     Memorandum of Understanding. Pp 41-49

b.         Review and Potential Action to Adopt Resolution No. 2014- : Resolution of the City Council of the City of Brawley, California, Establishing the Brawley Downtown Arts District (BDAD). Pp 50-51

 

c.         Discussion and Potential Action regarding Award of Contract No. 2014-09:          Purchase of Rock Products, Asphalt Cement Concrete and Other            Miscellaneous Street Products to Cal Grade, Inc. for a period of two years with a            third year option for an approximate amount of $289,200 per year. d.         Discussion and Potential Action regarding the Authorization of Construction        Change Order No. 3 in the Amount of $53,513 for Project No. 2013-06: Panno          Drive  Construction. Pp 54-57

 

e.         Review and Potential Action regarding Purchase of Two Marked Vehicles in the amount of $84,856.56 from Wondries Ford, Utilizing Los Angeles City Cooperative Bid (PO# 000149255). Pp 58-62
