3. CONSENT AGENDA

c. Approve Agreement with AE Consulting Inc. for Professional Engineering Services
to Design the Reconstruction of Runway 8/26 at the Airport and authorize the City
Manager to execute all documentation concerning this Agreement.

d. Approve the License Agreement between Catholic Charities and the City of Brawley
for the continued use of the Senior Center for Catholic Charities’ Senior Nutrition
Program and authorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement.

e. Approve Private Irrigation Ditch Maintenance Agreement for undergrounding of
irrigation ditch. This undertaking is required work in furtherance of the project of
paving Wildcat Drive to Legion Street.

a. Discussion and potential action to approve Professional Services Agreement with
consulting firm DTA to conduct cost of service rate study for residential and commercial
organic waste processing services. This agreement is for a not to exceed amount of
$30,105.00. Presented by Thomas Garcia, Assistant to the City Manager.

b. Review, Discuss and Adopt Resolution No. 2023-__ of the City Council of the City of
Brawley, California to incorporate a list of projects funded by SB 1 (The Road Repair
and Accountability Act). Presented by Rom Medina, Director of Public Works
Operations & Maintenance.

c. Review, Discuss and consider awarding contract to Hazard Construction Company for
Project Specification No. 2020-05, K Street Improvements Project from Highway 86 to
8th Street. Project amount of $668,624.75 and authorized if needed 10% contingency
of $66,862.47 for a total amount of $735,487.22. Also authorize the City Manager to
execute all documentation concerning this project. Presented by Rom Medina, Director
of Public Works Operations & Maintenance.

California Commercial Pools, Inc and delegating authority to the City Manager to sign
the same for project No. 2023-01 Lions Center Pool Rehabilitation Project. Presented
